Stompas n Shootas Oh My

Here's a WIP of a stompa idea and some random orky bitz thrown in there to remove empty space.

The Kustom Blasta is a good example of a weapon design before I personalize it with whatever bitz an ork mek feels should be appropriate.

The Chainaxe is my take at a typical orky weapon, scavenged from any junkyard parts to be turned into a devastating armour rippin device of pure rusty efficiency.

The shoota is a minor step by step sketchy example of the basic steps I take in drawing my ork tek, as one can see, its an easy way to make a shoota out of basic shapes like squares, and more squares.

The Stompa is an example of a sketch I really like, but for the life of me I can't get the legs right.

For the record I really can't stand Orky Titan designs. It makes a certain level of sense, as they do look like giant totems of Gork and Mork, but the giant bodies and tiny arms just don't cut it in my opinion. When your Titan Chainsaw can't reach 10 ft past your body how the heck is it supposed to annihilate a Baneblade. And don't get me started on the legs.
The Mega Gargants I like, however. They're basically massive rolling Hive Cities of Pure Firepower on giant treads the size of shopping malls. What's not to love?
So my Stompa idea is following these lines: A truly insane and Titan-obsessed Mek wants to build the Ultimate Tribute To The Ork Gods by making a giant metal ork. The stompa looks a lot like a Mega Armoured Nob so far, and I want to make it look heavier, but still mobile enough to look more lifelike. There will be a severed ork head wired into this stompa, and its thoughts control its movements with the help of a religiously fanatical Grot crew. The mouth will move and the jaw can open and close, there will be speakers in the gob so the Stompa can roar and thunder and taunt its enemies. A high level of sophistication for an orky device, lets see if I can pull it off.
