Description
My first major vehicle conversion. I took a used Trukk kit, tore it apart and rebuilt it. I used the handrails and made them into rollcages to put armour plating on, extended the back box (its just too small on ork vehicles), added a grabbin' klaw, reposed the gunner, added doors, wheel wells, etc.
Stat terms its a Scrap Truck from Imperial Armour 8. It loses its Fast ability (noooo) but gains a grabbin' klaw and armour plates for the same basic trukk price. To make up for this, the orks get Warkoptas (fast, fliers, 10 unit transport, and some cool weapons). Once I get more practice I will be glad to build a pair of em. Probably out of trukk kits.
Tell me what you think!
Oh and painting this thing was a nightmare. I think I spent twice the time painting than building it. I bought a new yellow and it did a horrible job of covering, looking back at this vehicle still stresses me out a bit. Ugh!

Nice conversion, can't wait to see the next one. Most yellows have poor coverage, and need multiple coats. Try priming all areas to be painted yellow with a flat white first.
