very cool. My only concern is that the Q-tip armour may end up appearing a little too thin compared to the sprue armour bitz, what do you think, as long as I add enough to the plastic with plasticard it should look alright?
I will be using my drill bit to drill into the glues on armour and ork to insert the plasticard tube/rod for a snugger fit.
well I find that a lot of the plasticard is too thick for armour plate, ie, it looks like he's wearing a giant 5 inch thick chunk of metal stuck to his wrist, as opposed to something that covers his arm. Also if you do the detailing with the small strips it gives it a lot more 'weight'. If I could find an easy way to curve plasticard sheeting I would do it, the biggest advantage of this system is that you get armour that curves perfectly to the contours of whatever part of the ork you place it on.
